Sticky-Teriyaki Chicken with Garlic Asparagus and Coconut Rice

I don't know why I bought this flavorHonestly, I don't know why I bought this particular flavor. In the past I've had many bad experiences with freeze dried meals that have chicken and or rice. The rice usually isn't very good and from other backpacker meals sometimes the chicken does not rehydrate and stays hard. So I tend to avoid them. HOWEVER this company seems to have figured it out with this meal. The rice was good not mushy or too hard, the chicken was flavourful and the texture felt right. I would definitely get this meal again and have already purchased more meals from them to try out. Having eaten more freeze dried meals than I can count, I've learned that in my environment I don't need a much water as stated for most packs. Listen to others start of with a little less water and add if you want. These meals ARE EXPENSIVE especially when you add in the shipping ... you don't want to ruin it by adding to much water. You can always add more.
